Yep-my head is 17 inches of hair lighter than it was a few days ago. I was planning on keeping my hair long until Christmas time so I could do the drastic cut with Diana and Stephanie, but I decided I couldn't last 4 more months with having a headache every day. It's incredible how much lighter short hair feels! (I'm sure that sounds like a silly statement, but it is very true.) I was a little worried about cutting it since the last time I cut it short right after Diana and Jeff's wedding 3 years ago, I hated it--mainly because I didn't know what to do with it. This time I went even shorter and I love it. I'm still not quite used to it, but I've already had fun trying a few different styles. I think I may even go a tad bit shorter before I let it grow out again...who knows.
