Camera Shy...

It seems that Michael has developed a shyness to the camera very early in life. He'll be smiling or babbling with us and I'll pull out the camera....and suddenly a blank stare replaces the smile. Watch for yourself...



On a rare occasion I'm lucky enough to catch him off guard...

I did a little experiment tonight and I've decided that while it's a bummer he responds to the camera this way, it can actually be a pretty nifty tool because it also works its magic when Michael is fussing. All I have to do is put the camera in front of his face as if I'm about to take a picture and this is what I get...

Tears stop...whimpering ends...mouth closes...stare begins. What a weirdo...

Hey...don't you know...that you have learned the trick of knowing how to stop him from crying...just have that camera close by all the time and you will have trained him like Pavlov's Dog!
